KEEPING IT SIMPLE
Your room.
Your answers.
Friendhangout does not require an account, an email address, a microphone or a camera.
What the game uses
When you join, the game server temporarily holds your chosen name, room membership, answers, guesses, score and last connection time. Your answers are hidden from other players until the guessing stage; your identity is revealed with the round results.
Temporary rooms
Game data is held in server memory, not a permanent game database. Rooms are removed after an hour of inactivity or after 12 hours total. Restarting the server also clears rooms. The game does not save your answers as memories or send them to an AI service.
Your browser
The game uses session storage in your browser tab to remember your room and private seat token so you can reconnect after refreshing. This token is not included in invitation links. Leaving a room clears that tab's saved seat.
Requests and hosting
The application temporarily counts requests by network address to limit abuse. Its rate-limit entries expire after about a minute. The hosting server may also maintain access and error logs; their retention is determined by the hosting configuration.
No advertising or analytics scripts
This version does not load advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or external fonts. Sharing an invite copies a link or opens your device's share menu; it does not give the game access to your contacts.
Share your room thoughtfully
Anyone with the room code can try to join the lobby. Use a nickname and keep answers suitable for the people you invited. The host can remove players before a game begins.
